Thanks to TIJ 2.5 technology, TIJ printers almost require no technical maintenance and are less prone to malfunctions. Thermal Inkjet Printing (TIJ) is a non-contact method of applying ink to almost any surface.
In the thermal inkjet printing (TIJ) process, ink cartridges are used instead of additional reservoirs like those in CIJ printers. In TIJ printers, ink droplets are ejected using a heat-based “droplet ejection” process. The ink is heated to a temperature of 340°C, creating a bubble. As the bubble expands, the ink is ejected onto the surface of the printing material. When an ink droplet leaves the nozzle, the bubble collapses, creating a vacuum that allows the process to repeat. TIJ requires less maintenance and is an economically efficient method for producing high-resolution codes on various surfaces. TIJ technology is also very reliable, being newer and much simpler than other printing methods, such as CIJ; the only recurring expense for TIJ printers is replacing cartridges.
The simplicity of TIJ technology not only reduces maintenance costs but also allows the devices to be compact and easily mobile, compared to other types of printers. Due to the mobility of TIJ printers, they are an excellent solution in cases where space is limited or in production processes that use large materials that are difficult to move, such as in wood production, construction material manufacturing, or the automotive parts industry.
In these printers, the ink is stored in a sealed cartridge, where the fluid pressure is regulated. Unlike CIJ printers, the TIJ system uses ink cartridges, eliminating the need for ink bottles or solvents. This makes TIJ printers an economical and clean printing solution. Since they use ink cartridges, changing the printer’s ink color is a straightforward process.
TIJ printers use standard ink cartridge systems and do not require any ink or solvent bottles, making TIJ printers clean and simple to use. Typically, if a malfunction occurs, it’s only in the cartridge. The cartridge serves as both the printing head and the entire ink system.
Our supplied cartridges can be 1′ or 0.5′, as well as high-capacity (bulk system) systems. Using high-capacity systems, compared to standard 42 ml capacity cartridges, clients reduce the costs associated with marking. Larger capacity means fewer cartridge changes and less hassle for operators.
Using TIJ printers, to start printing, you just need to create a message and insert an ink cartridge – this process takes less than a minute. Whether the printer was used yesterday or half a year ago, you can easily start the equipment. Electronic failures are very rare, so if the print quality is poor, just replace the cartridge with a new one – and everything is sorted out!

Manual TIJ Printer
A printer that allows marking various boxes or packages manually. Mainly used on flat surfaces and can apply various information: text, logo, date, automatic time, serial number, 2D code, etc. There are two models (depending on the required marking height) which are 12.7mm and 25.4mm in height. The cartridges for these printers are water-based and solvent-based, allowing use on both cardboard and polyethylene or metallized film or packaging.
